…we had a booth at the boat show.
And yes. I am very disappointed that we didn’t walk away from the show with a brand new boat!
It was also a weekend that we had all 7 kids (we’re a blended family and we prefer shows on weekends where we have NO kids!) and no one to help us.
So…I took my 8-year-old daughter – who is a much bolder salesperson than me – to the show.
She was immediately taken aback by how “rude” parents were to their kids when they wanted something from our booth.
She heard things like:
“you already have too many stuffies”
“you don’t need anymore books”
“what will you do with another blanket?”
and on and on and on.
I had to remind her that she also has a mother that doesn’t buy her everything she wants.
BUT – kids are an easy sell.
I don’t need to tell them that they want or need what we have created.
It’s the parents I have to convince. But, it turns out, that once you’ve held my quilt and heard my story, there isn’t any convincing needed.
This isn’t JUST another stuffie, book, blanket, or item to clutter your house.
We aren’t JUST selling snuggle gear.
We’re selling an experience.
We’re selling a feeling.
What we’ve created is the perfect playtime and bedtime all centered around connection, values and enjoying the softest, snuggliest gear we could make.
When we say bond with your child as they bond with their buddie, we mean it.
We’re about creating memories through play, reading, writing, snuggling and spending quality comfy time together.
This is how you create connected families and emotionally intelligent children and we want to be a part of it.
