Before we get to that question, have your kids started playing “what are the odds?”.
It would have given me severe anxiety as a kid…and even now being an adult, but it’s the new “truth or dare”.
Our kids have been playing it with their cousins for the last couple of weeks and my sis so badly wants to get me to do something.
But I’m kind of lame.
Someone says “What are the odds you would…
…go up to the stranger and ask them to lick your toes?”
…hold someone’s hand pretending to think their your spouse?”
…ask someone to rate your really terrible handstand?”
any number of awkward things and THEN you count to 3 and both say a number between 1-5.
If your number matches, the person then has to do whatever was “dared”.
Oh my.
There were many times I pretended not to know my children…
And not just because they were playing this game! 😂
Now that you get the game, you’ll understand how on girl’s day, we started playing our own little version when the question came up:
What are the odds that you would date and marry your spouse as who you are today if you met them at this time in life?
My mom couldn’t WAIT to answer.
It was a hands down, absolutely, no hesitations, YES!
And I have to believe that part of that “yes” is due to the ever-supportive, encouraging cheerleader my dad has been as we have started HuggaBuddies out of my mom’s creations.
He never dissuades.
He never discourages.
He whole-heartedly believes in her and her talent and so do I!
Why?
Because she has been creating this incredible snuggle gear for her own grandchildren since they were babies and every creation has been beyond loved.
My mom’s whole goal is to get a HuggaBuddie in the arms of every kid.
