I know you won’t believe this, but –

I just had my 40th birthday!!!

There was a time in my 30s that I stressed about approaching the decade that begins with a “4”, but now that I’m here, I LOVE it.

It feels good.

It feels right.

It feels like good things are coming, for both HuggaBuddies and myself and I’m excited.

I spent most of my birthday working the Fall Home Show and though this used to be something that I would dread (like my mom), now, it’s how I CHOSE to spend my day!

I hate sales. I’ve always hated sales. So, when we started this company and began doing shows, I was super awkward in the booth not wanting customers to think that I was pressuring them into buying something.

Now, I feel super excited sharing what we are creating with everyone, knowing the response I get is super excited, interested and well-received.

Whether people buy something or not, they walk away knowing how passionate we are about what we do and are super supportive and excited for us!

And this weekend was especially fun because in honor of my 40th birthday, my friend at Nervana Medical offered 20 FREE Units of botox to anyone that purchased from us!

At the end of the night, I got to come home to a yummy meal cooked by my mother-in-law, the sweetest gifts and cards a mama has ever received from her kids and so much joy and laughter.

Yep, 40 just feels right.
